Are you a Founder of a startup or scaleup, an Investor or an Ecosystem Enabler? GTEC is leading the German efforts to supercharge your growth through our work on the Soft-Landing program in partnership with Startup Division, CrosspringLab, IMT Starter and F6S. We’ll have the first Soft-Landing Mission visiting Berlin on March 26-28 – read more below to learn more!

Back in December, we gave you a small preview of the biggest project to date that GTEC is undertaking: we won a European Union Horizon2020 Project called Soft-Landing and are now part of a consortium of startup hubs, including Berlin, Paris, Vilnius and Zoetermeer. Which means that if you are a founder, an investor or an ecosystem builder, you should definitely keep reading!

Soft-Landing aims to connect startup ecosystems and facilitate growth for European startups and scaleups by organising expeditions for both founders and ecosystem enablers during the next 2 years. Today we can finally share the brand new website for this project, where you can already start applying to join one of our Missions! If you have a key ecosystem enabler you’d like for us to bring to Berlin in order to help our hub to keep learning and growing, do let us know. Also, save the date for the first Soft-Landing Mission visiting Berlin on March 26-29, as we’re preparing really exciting activities with them that will surely benefit startups and scaleups based here.

With the Soft-Landing project, we’ve set ourselves to invite 96 startups and scaleups to professional Soft-Landing stays – meaning we’ll support them for a full month, bringing them to technological and entrepreneurial hubs in Germany, France, the Netherlands, Lithuania and the United States.

But not only that: we’re also planning to help 200 brilliant minds and startup enablers to go on 40 Discovery Missions for a week and help founders in Lithuania, the Netherlands, United States, India, France and Germany to unlock the potential of their ideas.

You can stay in the loop for all the planned Soft-Landing activities and further announcements by subscribing to our newsletter!
